Children need to exercise
more - for health, confidence and character
building. This is now a national priority.
But here's something new
- a fundraising event that encourages children
to take exercise, not only to help themselves
and their schools, but to help children
less fortunate in developing countries.
And all for £1.
So far pupils are registered to participate from schools and junior sports clubs.
A free School Assembly style DVD lasting 13 minutes entitled "A Day in the Life of Bashir" which is both informative and motivational, will be sent with accompanying Teachers Notes, to each school that registers.

Between 2005-2007
pupils were registered to participate from Schools and Junior Sports Clubs.
The children benefit,
the schools benefit.
The organisation is simple.
The Schoolchildren for Children appeal was
launched successfully as a pilot project
in Wales in 2003/4 with the support of the
Welsh Rugby Union. In 2005 schools across
the whole of the UK were targeted.
This year - with the inspiration
of the successful London bid for the 2012
Olympics and the support of Dame Kelly Holmes
- the aim is to expand school participation
significantly. |
